 Langley Mill Pottery was located on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border, England. From 1865 to 1982, pottery produced a wide range of stoneware ranging from utilitarian items and tableware to high-quality art. The turn of the 19th century to the end of the First World War was a period of unparalleled prosperity and expansion for the Langley Mill Pottery, with the proprietors becoming increasingly affluent and influential. In 1913, the pottery was converted into a private limited company, Lovatt & Lovatt Ltd.
